The press celebrates the Munich Guitar Trio as “an ensemble of the highest caliber” and “a heavyweight of the genre,” and their performance is described as “perfect harmony, splendid dialogues” with “impressive empathy and intensity in playing” (“Der Neue Tag Weiden,” “Saarbrückener Zeitung,” “Münchner Merkur”).

Audiences and critics alike are equally impressed by the ability of this unique ensemble to expand the tonal intimacy of a single guitar into the “sonorous richness of an entire orchestra” (“Münchner Merkur”).

The special atmosphere of the trio's concerts is described by the press as follows:

“Two hours later, the audience wishes that this concert should never end.” (“Weilburger Tageblatt”)

“Full of feeling. Full of harmony. Simply: beautiful. The concert of the Munich Guitar Trio […] was a charming evening of a special kind.” (“Dachauer Nachrichten”)

“In the playing of the three Munich guitarists, tender love transformed into wild passion, melancholy into excessive joy. That was yet another moment of musical bliss. No wonder that the visitors went home with a smile“ (“Oberhessische Presse”

“Thomas Etschmann, Alexander Leidolph, and Mikhail Antropov […] created an individual, tone-painting sound quality as a guitar trio through their imaginative interpretations, which characterizes the trio's playing predominantly alongside technical precision and highly musical sensitivity.” (“Schwarzwälder Bote”)
