On the second weekend of October, the weather is always fantastic, fruits, vegetables, and field crops are harvested and already processed into delicious products. A great time for the local & tasty enjoyment market Rhein | Lahn | Limes. It has a family character and is a nice meeting point to enjoy spontaneously with friends and acquaintances. Always included: juices, cold-pressed oils, spirits & liqueurs, gin, strawberry secco, beer specialties, demonstration cellars, apples, pears & more, chocolates, confectionery & pastries, honey & bee products, eggs, potatoes, cheese, delicacies from game, sheep meat sausage, Limes bread & Limes sausage, spreads, Roman tasting kitchen, grilled food, information stands, and much more.

From 1 to 4 p.m., there will be pony rides for kids.

Motivation

The initiative "local & tasty Rhein | Lahn | Limes" originated from the idea of the apple tasting day organized by the Scheuern Foundation. The goal is to gather local direct marketers under one roof and promote a sustainable regional variety of products. The initiative is supported by the economic development corporation of the Rhein-Lahn district. The enjoyment market is a visible expression of this attitude and fits perfectly with the new umbrella brand of our district: "Diversity Rhein | Lahn | Limes", under which projects and ideas for the active presentation of the diverse facets of our homeland can be showcased.
