The Canadian singer and songwriter is known for her powerful and captivating stage performances. After honing her craft as a member of the proto-punk band The Joys, Sarah has tirelessly toured Canada, the United States, and Europe as a solo artist for the past 15 years. During this time, she has collected over 25 Canadian Independent Industry Awards and has shared the stage with some of the most respected Canadian artists, including Steven Page, Carole Pope, Sass Jordan, Joel Plaskett, Bif Naked, as well as international acts like Melissa Etheridge, Nancy Wilson, and KT Tunstall.

In addition, she regularly releases her own music, including the 2024 "Shine Bright – A Decade of Sarah Smith," a best-of compilation that has been released both on CD and vinyl. The 2025 album "So Brand New" brings power and danceability straight from her heart to your ears!

Sarah currently lives on Pender Island off the coast of British Columbia and is an artist of unparalleled authenticity, with remarkable songs and inspiring live performances. Alongside rock music, she is actively involved in supporting organizations such as the Canadian Mental Health Association, Addictions Services of Thames Valley, Ark Aid Mission, My Sister's Place, Anova, and Vanier Children's Services.
