JINX plays classic rock 'n' roll, blues, and boogie with a lot of energy.

Founded in 1982, the Jinx album "Cheers to Rock'n Roll" was released in 1984. The trade magazine "Musik-Szene" wrote about this LP: "A party hit of the highest quality." Numerous radio appearances and some television performances followed, along with countless live performances in Germany and abroad. Highlights include concerts with Rory Gallagher, Dr. Feelgood, Omar & the Howlers, Walter Trout, Golden Earring, Climax Blues Band, Nine Below Zero, Little Steven, Pur, and the Rodgau Monotones.

Jinx plays live both their own songs and well-known hits from rock'n roll artists such as Chuck Berry and Little Richard. The captivating Jinx sound invites the audience to sing along, clap along, and dance. Every Jinx concert is a rock'n roll party. Line-up: Dieter Hoffmann (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Dieter Israel (keyboards), Thomas Boppard (drums), Jan Gerolstein (harmonica), and Thomas Aller (bass).
