Kultur im Kastell - Adjiri Odametey

On Saturday, February 28 at 8 PM the series “Culture in the Castle” begins with its first concert of 2026 at the basilica of the Pohl Limes Castle.

Adjiri Odametey comes as an ambassador of authentic African music. He has created his own individual style with his "African World Music" – always aware of his West African roots. 
Singer-songwriter Adjiri Odametey, with his warm, earthy voice, is considered one of the most impressive representatives of African music today. The multi-instrumentalist masters instruments such as the mbira and kalimba, kora, balafon, and guitar.

Adjiri Odametey became known through the title track of his first CD “Mala”. Now he presents his now fourth CD with “Ekonklo – on the other side”.

Visitors will experience an extraordinary concert!

Admission: 18 EUR (students and trainees 16 EUR).
