Tag des Wanderns vom Taunusclub Bad Ems

This year's Hiking Day of the affiliated branches Augst, Bad Ems, Hillscheid, Höhr-Grenzhausen, and Montabaur will take place on May 17, 2025, under the direction of the Taunus Club Bad Ems. Participation is at your own risk.

Sturdy footwear and personal backpack provisions are mandatory, trekking poles are helpful.

Guests are, as always, warmly welcome!

Two hikes are offered

1. Short: approx. 7 km
Start and meeting point at 11:00 AM at the parking lot Nettomarkt on Arzbacher Street in Bad Ems. Circular hike on parts of the Romantic Route.

2. Long: approx. 12 km
Start and meeting point at 10:00 AM at the parking lot Nettomarkt on Arzbacher Street in Bad Ems. Hike in the footsteps of the Romans to and along the Limes (Limes Trail WWV) on the occasion of 20 years of the Upper German-Rhaetian Limes (ORL) as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The concluding refreshment for both groups will take place around 3:00 PM at the Restaurant Kreuzmühle, Arzbacher Straße 52 in Bad Ems.
