Café Eckstein

Since 1979 the historic Malbergbahn in Bad Ems has been in a deep sleep. At least in the valley station you can now board again. The listed building and one of the old carriages have been renovated with great attention to detail. The interior of the building has been transformed into a small but fine café. A special highlight has been achieved with the renovation of the lower carriages, which is integrated into the management of the valley station in a very special mix of nostalgia and modern restoration with over 20 seats. The Café Eckstein - named after the founder of the Verein zur Rettung der Bergbahn - has room for about 30 people and is ideal for weddings, birthdays and company celebrations. The open-air outdoor area of the valley station can accommodate up to 100 people - the perfect place for cultural events of all kinds.

Café Eckstein is the ideal place to relax in a cosy atmosphere. Enjoy our homemade cakes and tarts, be seduced and spoiled by our lovingly prepared meals and delicious coffee specialities.
