Experience exciting things about the Malbergbahn
The funicular railway to the high Malbergskopf of Bad Ems, opened in 1887, was the steepest cable railway in Germany with a gradient of up to 54 percent. With its propulsion by means of water ballast, it was considered the epitome of German engineering at the time.
