Habitat of threatened and rare animal species at the Lahn
The nature reserve "Nieverner Wehr" has a size of about 7.5 ha. Its purpose is to preserve the wetland with its water surfaces, shallow water zones and wetlands as a habitat for endangered and rare animal species. An information board at the car park in front of the gymnasium provides a wide range of information.
