"Social, organic, fair" – an ideal combination!

Welcome to the EINE WELT Bad Ems e.V. working group.

Founded in 1987, our non-profit association is committed to

  • more justice
  • more peace
  • more sustainability

in the ONE WORLD.

We ...

... are oriented towards development, peace, and environmental policy.

... remain politically and religiously independent.

... operate a fair trade shop to promote Fair Trade.

... support aid projects for children in Peru and Kenya.

Fair trade is politics with the shopping basket

Fair trade demonstrates on a small scale what just global trade could look like:

It respects the value and dignity of human labor

  • It is based on partnership and transparency
  • It helps disadvantaged producer groups in the Global South
  • It guarantees fair prices and long-term purchase contracts
  • It favors artisanal production and organic farming
  • It enables the development of sustainable social infrastructures
  • It paves the way for a fairer economic order

"Social, organic, fair" – an ideal combination!

In collaboration with the Scheuern Foundation, we operate a joint storefront in Bad Ems.

There you will find socially and ecologically produced in-house products from the workshops for people with disabilities LANGAUER MÜHLE, as well as organically grown and fairly traded goods from the countries of the Global South.

Our wide range of products: candles, ceramics, wooden toys, gift items, juices and jellies, coffee, tea, nuts, honey, quinoa, cocoa, chocolate, whole cane sugar, sweets, arts and crafts, wine, textiles.

...Additionally, we accept shoe repairs.
