"Harvest Festival" An extraordinary concert featuring medieval instruments and costumes.
Unparalleled, the musicians of Ranunculus know how to captivate their audience with their music and zest for life.
Ranunculus represents medieval/historical music with great entertainment value. For over 20 years, they have performed throughout Germany and neighboring countries, at festivals, medieval markets, city anniversaries, and a variety of events. In 2015, they took us to Japan, and in 2019, it was off to South Korea for the Verbandsgemeine Loreley.
An exceptionally rich array of instruments from various historical periods, elaborate costumes to match, and an equally vast musical repertoire characterize Ranunculus and form the basis for their many different program offerings.
On the large market stage or in the midst of the crowd, sometimes loud with drum works, bagpipes, and shawms, sometimes with lovely singing, nyckelharpa, hurdy-gurdy, and lute – Ranunculus presents medieval music with great entertainment value and special diversity.
