The Artist Residency Schloss Balmoral invites you to two events on Sunday, September 28, 2025:

Kids in the Castle & Open Studios.

On one hand, we are pleased to welcome you to the opening of the exhibition Kids in the Castle. This summer, children under the guidance of artist Nataliy Schenkmann have accomplished great things in the castle: with full commitment, maximum concentration, and dedication, they drew, painted, and modeled over ten days in three different courses.

A remarkable range of works has emerged on the theme of our castle and its immediate surroundings. We are excited to present the results of the children's holiday courses offered for the first time in our Piano Hall.

All friends, families, and curious individuals are warmly invited to admire the canvases, charcoal drawings, and sculptures of the young creatives in a curated exhibition.

At the same time, the scholarship holders of the Artist Residency Schloss Balmoral will open their studios and provide rare insights into their work on site. Studio visits have a tradition here and are part of the bridge-building event organized by BBK, Professional Association of Visual Artists Rhineland-Palatinate, which many artists participate in.

We cordially invite everyone to "gain direct insight into the working world of artists, learn about unusual perspectives, and exchange ideas about art directly at its places of creation," as expressed by the Professional Association of Visual Artists Rhineland-Palatinate.
