Gourmet hike combines nature experience and regional culinary delights

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Bad Ems-Nassau tourism office invites you to a special gourmet hike along the Lahn hiking trail. The approximately twelve-kilometer route leads from Nassau through Dausenau to Bad Ems, connecting impressive nature experiences with culinary delights from the region.

Along the hiking trail, participants can expect several gourmet stations, where Detlev Ueter and Norbert Massengeil-Beck will serve selected specialties and matching Lahn wines.

The culinary conclusion consists of the main course and dessert in the foyer of the "Russischer Hof" in Bad Ems.

On the menu are:

• Leek pie with goat cheese
• Lentil-apple bowl with lamb's lettuce and game terrine
• Pumpkin soup with coconut milk
• Veal with Brussels sprouts and "Debbekooche"
• Plum-chocolate dessert with almond brownie

The gourmet hike begins at 11:00 a.m. at Nassau train station.

The participation fee is 75.00 euros per person.

Sturdy footwear is expressly recommended due to the hiking route.
