A special offer for students in the 5th and 6th school years.
From June 29 to July 3, 2026, daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. there will be varied summer holiday games. The participants will experience life in a Roman small fort at the border to Germania. In addition to numerous creative activities – e.g. building instruments, batik, making candles – there are workshops on the topics "Trash-Drumming," "Life in the Forest," "Life in the Meadow," "From Sheep to Wool," and "How is Honey Made?"

Monday, June 29.
Introduction to the Limes fort, creative activities, Roman games
Tuesday, June 30.
Trash-Drumming Workshop (District Music School), From Sheep to Wool (Määhwerk), creative activities, Roman games
Wednesday, July 1.
Life in the Forest (Forestry Office Lahnstein), making and baking bread dough in a clay oven, How is Honey Made? (Beekeeping Nengel), creative activities, Roman games
Thursday, July 2.
Metalwork, making candles, Roman clothing, creative activities, Roman games
Friday, July 3.
Life in the Meadow (Nature Park Nassau), Parents' Afternoon
Participation costs €75.00.
The price includes materials, lunch, and mineral water.

Alternatively, you can also call (06772 9680768) or send an email to tickets@limeskastell-pohl.de. Only the complete week can be booked. You will receive an automatic reservation message that you must confirm. After that, you will be contacted by email shortly and will receive a binding registration form to clarify issues such as insurance questions and special dietary requests (allergies, intolerances, etc.). The number of participants is limited to 25. Due to the limited number of participants, early registration is recommended.
The summer holiday games are organized by Limeskastell Pohl and the support group of the Limeskastell. The organizer is the municipality of Pohl as the operator of the fort.
