The South Korean pianist Nahyun Park was born in Seoul in 1998 and began playing the piano at the age of five. She graduated from the Yewon School and the Seoul Arts High School in Korea. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's degree at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover under Prof. Gerrit Zitterbart. She studied for her concert exam at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim with Prof. Alexej Gorlatch, and concluded her studies with a performance with the Württemberg Philharmonic Reutlingen. During her studies, she was a scholarship holder of the Baden-Württemberg Scholarship. She is a prizewinner of the “Young Pianist of the North International Competition" in Newcastle and the “Carl Maria von Weber International Competition". She has performed at numerous concerts, including the Federal Garden Show Festival 2023 in Mannheim, at the Alten Magazin in Hanover, in the Richard-Jakoby-Saal, at Mannheim Palace, in the Ernst-Bloch-Zentrum, at the WPR studio, and in the Clavier Salon in Göttingen. Through her participation in numerous master classes, she received musical inspirations from Bernd Goetzke, Oliver Gardon, Hinrich Alpers, Jeffrey Cohen, and Fernando Viani.
