The last of its kind, standing over a running spring of medicinal water
The drilling tower was built in 1939 to ensure the supply of mineral water in Bad Ems. The restored tower is the last of its kind to stand above a flowing mineral water spring. On the one hand, it is the protective building for the healing spring below and the existing extraction technology.
