A Guinness Book suspected source: With its 57° C it is one of the hottest in Germany. In summer, when it is in good shape, the fountain with its artesian water bubbles up to 8 meters high - all by itself with natural pressure. The ingredients are also available - without the water - in the Emser Pastilles. After evaporation of the water, 3.5 grams of mineral salts per litre remain, which have been pressed into the soothing pastilles for almost 150 years now, and are appreciated not only by opera singers.
