Julie Malía, already known in the Limeskastell as Jule Malischke, is an incredibly talented guitarist, singer, and composer who has made a name for herself in recent years primarily with her fantastic compositions and outstanding festival performances.

Julie Malía is now regarded nationally and internationally as one of the most exciting discoveries in the current guitar and singer/songwriter scene. Through numerous concerts at home and abroad, at significant guitar festivals, and appearances on radio and TV, she has gained a Europe-wide reputation and high regard. Hence the "artist name": "Malischke" is an interesting phonetic experiment in many languages ;-)

The uniqueness of Julie Malía, and this is certainly a distinctive feature, lies in her musical versatility. With her brilliant guitar playing, she effortlessly moves between various styles of virtuosic concert guitar literature, complex fingerstyle arrangements, and her sung songs, which she presents with great passion and a lot of poetry. In doing so, she bridges the gap between classical and jazz, between instrumental and vocal music, between earthbound groove and heavenly soundscapes, and that is truly unique. Her own songs authentically reflect the life of a young woman – with all her longings and dreams. She gives a personal touch to occasionally included cover songs. In the process, she plucks, strums, and treats her instrument in such a way that a fresh overall sound emerges.
