Invitation to a hike
The March hike of the Taunus Club leads from Bad Ems to the new Herrenlei Trail in and around Dausenau. Over the Westersbach and Höhenhaus, we first go to Dausenau to the old oak, the starting point of the Herrenlei Trail. This leads over the Leinweg to the ascent to the Damenlei and further to the Herrenlei. There, the highest point of 326 m is reached. Rich in beautiful views, we then descend back to Dausenau for the final rest. The return to Bad Ems is by train.
The route is just under 14 km long. Participation is at your own risk. Sturdy footwear and personal packed refreshments are mandatory, poles are helpful.
Meeting point and start is at the Westbahnhof Bad Ems at 10:30 AM.
The return to Bad Ems is planned for around 6:00 PM.
Binding registration is requested by Friday, March 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM either by phone at 02603-504770 answering machine or by email to juergen-gauer@t-online.de. Please clearly provide your name and phone number, as well as whether you have a Germany Ticket or not.
