Bathhouse in the spa gardens

Short facts

  • Bad Ems
  • Roman Limes, historic sites

The former bathhouse served, as the name suggests, for many years as a spa.

The building, erected in 1845, comprised 30 baths supplied by the new spring and continued to operate in this capacity for curative purposes until the 1960s.

After a tumultuous history, the building now houses a restaurant (carls) and an event space where the local cabaret Casablanca can be seen.
