Protestant Church of Emperor Wilhelm

A Protestant bathing church, which saved the long walk to the old village church, was already favoured by Kaiser Wilhelm I. After his death, the spa guest Pastor Friedrich von Bodelschwingh ensured that the building work continued. The church was completed in 1899. In Romanesque style, the compact building rises up on the slope of the Malberg. The space-saving insertion of the bell tower in the angle formed by the nave and transept is remarkable.
