Beautiful view of Arnstein Monastery, Langenau Castle and Nassau Castle

The Hohe Lay is a rock above the Lahn Valley near Nassau. Access is via the Lahn hiking trail from Nassau or Obernhof and Weinähr. The rock is mostly in the forest and consists of quartzite. The established routes are on the south and east side, on the north side there are stairs leading to the viewing platform with picnic facilities. From the top of the rock you have a wonderful view of the Lahn valley, as well as of the Arnstein monastery, Langenau castle and Nassau castle. The viewpoint can be reached via the Lahnwanderweg or the circular path Hohe Lay.
