Large stage in the New Rococo style
In 1913/14, the Marble Hall was no longer sufficient for the large number of events and spectators and the Kursaal building, in which the Marble Hall is located, was extended to include the Kurtheater. In keeping with the fashionable trend of the early20th century, the theatre hall in the new building was renovated. The theatre hall was designed in neo-Rococo style. Just like the Marble Hall, the Kurtheater is still the stage for major cultural events today.
