Canoe taster tour

Wild and romantic river landscapes make the Lahn a paradise for canoeists. Past untouched floodplains or steep rock faces, there is something new to discover behind every bend in the river. On the way there are enough possibilities to visit a rest stop or a camping site.

This beginners' tour leads from Obernhof to Nassau.
Between wooded hills the Lahn meanders from Obernhof to Nassau. In about two and a half hours, the seven-kilometre-long route can also be paddled by Kanuneuliengen, who, in addition to the natural idyll, have cultural treasures to offer, such as the Arnstein Monastery and Langenau Castle.  Even if the trip on the Lahn is rather quiet, canoeists are not spared a little adventure during a trip through the locks.

The Lahntalbahn brings you back to the starting point along the entire route at hourly intervals!
