Nievern is a small, quiet municipality in the Lahn Valley between Bad Ems and Lahnstein. The village is picturesque, located directly on the Lahn River and surrounded by the wooded slopes of the Taunus. The area offers plenty of nature, well-developed cycling and hiking trails, as well as a relaxed, rural atmosphere. Despite its manageable size, Nievern has good transport links via the Lahntalbahn and its proximity to regional roads. Overall, the village is characterized by its idyllic location, nature-friendly surroundings, and pleasant living quality.
Arrival
.. from A61 coming from Koblenz - B260 towards Bad Ems, over the bridge to Nievern until the end of Brückenstraße, then turn right onto Hauptstraße, towards Lahn, turn left before the parking lot by the Lahn until the end of Lahnstraße.
.. from A3 coming from Montabaur - B49 via the bypass Neuhäusel, take the exit Denzerheide/Golfplatz to Bad Ems, follow the main direction until the second roundabout, take the first exit towards Nievern, then drive straight until the end of Lahnstraße.
