Monument of Emperor Wilhelm I.

The Emperor’s monument in the spa park is a rarity, as it shows Wilhelm I wearing plain clothes and not a uniform. In 1893 the monument was inaugurated. The relief shows the Emperor drinking “Emser Kränchen” (mineral spring water) and that in 1887 all three emperors of the following “three-emperors-year” ( 1888) stayed in Bad Ems for a cure.
