Good luck, Wanderer!

In the valley of the Emsbach, the Romans were already mining and in the Middle Ages the archbishops of Trier improved their finances with the silver. With the industrialisation
finally the mining industry experienced its heyday. The mining history hike in the footsteps of the Ems ore mining industry takes you to the operating sites of these different eras. The museum itself invites you to delve deeper into history, and an extensive mineral cabinet is also presented.
